Naas General Hospital

There is an overcrowding crisis at Naas Hospital today.

There are 35 patients being treated on trolleys there, according to the Irish Nurses and Midwiaves Organisation.

This means it is the most overcrowded hospital in the eastern region, which includes the major Dublin hospitals.

Naas is the fourth most overcrowded hospital in Ireland this morning  - behind University Hospital Limerick, which has 61 patients on trolleys, Sligo University Hospital (39) and Letterkenny University Hospital (37).
