The Jysk store, Naas
Gardai in Naas are appealing for information about a break-in at the newly arrived Danish furniture store Jysk.
It opened at the Newhall retail park on Tuesday and broken into after close of business that day (April 2). This was the first branch to open in Ireland although others are planned.
According to the gardai a small of items were stolen in the inciddent and damage was done to the store. “No arrests have been made and investigations are ongoing,” a Garda spokesperson said
It is understood that the break-in occurred between 1.30am and 5.30am and that a number of people entered the premises through the roof.
It is understood that while little of value was stolen, a considerable amount of damage was caused.
