Naas General Hospital
Overcrowding remains a problem at Naas Hospital today.
There are 24 patient trolleys making it the worst overcrowded hospital in the eastern region - which includes the major Dublin facilities - today.
There were 25 patients on trolleys at the hospital yesterday, having been admitted through the accident and emergency department.
Yesterday (March 11) it was the third worst hospital for overcrowding in the State - behind University Hospital Limerick and Cork University Hospital.
There was chronic overcrowding at the hospital last Monday when 32 patients had no bed.
At Portlaoise Hospital there are eight patients on trolleys and at Tullamore Hospital there are 16 patients on trolleys.
