Naas Hospital is the third worst overcrowded facility in Ireland today

Naas General Hospital

There are 25 patients on trolleys at Naas General Hospital today, having been admitted through the accident and emergency department.

This makes the third worst hopsital for overcrowding in the State today - behind University Hopsital Limerick and Cork University Hospital.

There was chronic overcrowding at the hospital last Monday when 32 patients had no bed.

At Portlaoise Hopsital ther are no patients on trolleys and at Tullamore Hospital there are 18 patients on trolleys.
