It will be blustery today
It will be blustery this morning with fresh to strong and gusty northwest winds. Rain over Ulster and north Leinster for a time, heavy in places, says Met Eireann. Sunny spells and passing showers otherwise, with a risk of hail. Winds decreasing moderate to fresh later this afternoon and evening. Top temperatures of 8 to 10 degrees.
A few showers early tonight, but soon drying out with clear spells and winds becoming light. Cold in many places, with lowest temperatures between -1 and 2 C., with a sharp frost and some icy patches. Less cold in many Atlantic coastal counties, with just a patchy frost for a time and increasing clouds there will bring rain before dawn.
