Well known publican, Louis Fitzgerald, has been granted an annual dance licence for the premises formerly known as the Mantra, in Maynooth.
The publican was presented at the February 5 sitting of Kilcock District Court.
The application was for the licence the Duke and Coachman premises and was made in the name of Buzztap Ltd. There were no objections from gardai or the public.
Taking the stand to give evidence, Mr Fitzgerald, who also owns the Roost in Maynooth, said he owned 11 pubs and, in Ireland, two hotels, employing 950 people worlwide.
