A 51-year-old County Kildare man has appeared before Naas District Court on a number of allegations of rape.
It’s alleged the offences were committed against his daughter on dates between 2002 and 2005 when the girl was aged under 10.
The case was adjourned until next month by Judge Desmond Zaidan.
The defendant has to sign on three times a week at a garda station and has already handed up his passport. He has also been told not apply for travel documents.
The man, who faces 15 allegations, was also told to have no contact directly or indirectly with the alleged injured party.
Restrictions were applied to the reporting of the case to protect the identity of the alleged victim.
