Overcrowding eases at Naas Hospital

Naas General Hospital

Overcrowding problems have eased somewhat at Naas Hospital today.

There are 15 patients being treated on trolleys having come in through the hospital's accident and emergency department. There were 25 people on trolleys there yesterday, making it one of the worst hospitals in the eastern region for overcrowding.

There are 15 patients on trolleys at Portlaoise Hospital today and 12 at Tullamore Hospital.
