Handbag snatch in Sallins leaves woman with €1,400 loss

Naas gardai are investigating

A woman suffered a loss of €1,400 when her handbag was stolen in a supermarket car park in Sallins.

It happened on January 15.

The woman was sitting in her car at the Lidl outlet and a car was driven in and did a u turn.

A man got out of the vehicle (a green BMW 320 saloon reg. 02 TS 4708), opened the passenger door of the woman’s car and grabbed her handbag, before making off.

The bag contained an iPad, a phone and spectacles.

Naas gardai (phone 884300) are investigating.
