Woman's phone taken during 'distraction theft' in Naas

A woman's phone was stolen in what Naas gardai say was a “distraction theft”.

It happened at a coffee shop at Dublin Road, Naas, on November 2 at 8.40am.

A man, thought to a foreign national,  approached the woman with a map and began talking to her in a foreign language. When he left she noticed that her phone had been stolen.
