It may be wet early on but dry weather is on the way
It will be dry and pleasant across Co. Kildare today after a moist start.
There may be some drizzle before a clearance sets in.
According to Met Eireann outbreaks of rain and drizzle will gradually extend eastwards over the country this morning, reaching the east coast by early afternoon, just as the clearance arrives in western areas. Drier and brighter conditions with just isolated showers, will push eastwards through the course of the afternoon. It will be breezy with top temperatures of 13 to 17 degrees in moderate to fresh southerly winds, later veering southwest and easing.
Showers will become more frequent in the west and northwest this evening and early tonight with a few spreading elsewhere overnight. Variable cloud amounts with clear intervals. Light to moderate southwest or variable breezes. Lows of 4 to 8 degrees.
