Kildare County Council granted permission
Planning permission has been granted for a warehouse on the outskirts of Naas, close to Monread Fare and the Monread Industrial Estate.
The application was made by Castlekeel Ltd., a longstanding Straffan-based development company.
There were no objections to the proposal - a 962 square metre (less than a quarter of an acre) single storey building with 69 car park spaces, bicycle spaces, a service yard and security fencing.
Although the planning documents indicate that it will be a retail warehouse the eventual user is not known.
Kildare County Council is seeking development levies totalling €52,250 for the project.
