Man arrested after large quantity of stolen power tools recovered in Kildare

A large amount of stolen power tools were recovered in Co. Kildare yesterday, October 9.

As part of Operation Thor, gardaí were investigating the theft of power tools within the Carlow District. They seized property from a number of houses in Athy.

One male was arrested on suspicion of handling stolen property.

He was taken to Carlow Garda Station where he is currently detained under Section 4 of the Criminal Justice Act 1984.

Gardaì are currently trying to relocate property with rightful owners. According to gardaí in Kildare, items will be on display in Carlow Garda Station this Saturday October 13 from 2-4pm.
