Equipment valued at €3,000 was stolen from a van off Kilcullen road, Naas.

A Stihl leaf blower, a Stihl chainsaw and a hedge cutter were among the items taken from a grey coloured Renault van after the lock was broken.

It happened at the Sli na Riogh apartment complex on October 6-7 between 3 am on Oct. 3 and 11pm on Oct. 4.

It is the latest in a series of similar crimes committed in the Naas area and gardai believe many of the stolen tools are being taken abroad to be sold.

Naas gardai are investigating.
