Gardai investigating alleged attempted abduction of a woman at a bus stop in Kildare

Gardaí in Kildare are investigating an alleged attempted abduction that took place earlier this month.

Gardaí say an incident occurred on September 12 2018 at approximately 10pm in the Barberstown area of Straffan.

A woman in her 40s reports that while standing at a bus stop a car pulled up and offered her a lift.

The male driver of the car then got out and grabbed her by the arm before leaving the scene.
