Free Tai Chi for Naas

Free Tai Chi event in Naas

A free outdoor Tai Chi and Chi Kung (Qigong) event takes place in Naas on Saturday April 28.

It’s being held to celebrate World Tai Chi & Qigong day - in partnership with  Naas Tidy Towns at their community public area at Well Lane, Newbridge Road, Naas. It will take place at 10am until about 11am and is open to all members of the public.

Similar events are on the same day on the last Saturday of April and begin at 10 am local time. Beginning in New Zealand, the worldwide event spreads itself across the globe, time zone by time zone, through 60 countries, across 6 continents, to promote calm and wellness worldwide. Tai Chi has been independently described as  "moving medication" for all the myriad health issues it has been shown to help with. More information about the event can be found on www.worldtaichiday.org

It’s being organised by Robert Waterhouse, a Tai Chi Instructor with Master Ding Academy and offers traditional and authentic Yang style Tai Chi Chuan as taught by Master John Ding, 6th generation Yang family lineage. www.masterdingacademy.com
