Desperate appeal to find Shetland pony stolen from Kildare horse rescue centre

Missing Polly Pockets PIC: My Lovely Horse Rescue

A horse rescue farm based in Kildare is appealing to the public after one of its ponies is believed to have been stolen on Monday.

The My Lovely Horse Rescue shelter desperately wants to have two-year-old Polly Pockets back in their care.

Polly, a miniature Shetland pony, was last seen on Monday, April 9.

When Polly failed to come in for dinner, the alarm was raised.

The chestnut pony came into the care of the centre in October 2016, after her mother was killed by a fellow owner. She has a distinctive white mark on her head.

Anyone with information is asked to contact the MLHR centre.
