Kildare's National Stud lodge plans to build interactive museum

Kildare-based Irish National Stud is seeking to build a new on-site museum.

Irish National Stud Co. Limited has applied to Kildare County Council for permission to construct a 600 square metre single storey interactive museum building within the grounds.

The horse breeding facility located at Tully East, Kildare is looking to improve their visitor experience.

They also wish to provide an insight into the life-cycle of a Thoroughbred Racehorse from an Irish context.

The plans were received on April 6 last. Submissions are sough by May 10. A decision is due on May 31.
