A yellow junction is needed to tackle motorists blocking a fire exit in Sallins. A local councillor, Anne Breen, has asked Kildare County Council to put in a junction box on the road outside the Railway Inn.
She said it's needed at the large wooden gate which allows access to the rear of the building.
"This is a fire exit for a public house and is regularly blocked by parked vehicles," said Cllr. Breen. KCC said: “The matter is being examined by the pay parking/enforcement section in consultation with the district engineer.”
