Car batteries worth €5,000 stolen in Naas

Naas Garda Station

A quantity of car batteries were stolen from the Sheehy Motors premises at Newbridge Road Naas.

A total of 46 batteries, worth approximately €5,000 were taken on March 8, after a container in the car parts area of the enterprise was forced open.

On the same date a quantity of  older batteries, normally used in forklifts, were removed from a container at Arthurstown, Kill.

Naas gardai have arrested a man in connection with the incidents.
