Gardaí in the Kildare Garda Division are investigating 8 separate burglaries that took on the same day in the county.
All burglaries happened on March 7 last, and gardaí say they all may be linked.
Two took place in Leixlip. In the Glendale Meadows estate, two houses were targeted between 9 and 10pm. Items were stolen.
On the same day in Mooretown, Celbridge, three motorcycles were stolen from a shed at the back of a house in the area.
Another house was targeted in the Hayfield area, Straffan road in Maynooth.
In Ottomy Drive Clane, a woman left her house for 10 minutes to do shopping and arrived back to find her house had been ransacked. Nothing was taken.
In Esmondale, Naas between 4-6pm, occupants left the house for a short time, when it was broken into and several items were taken.
In the Redhills area of Kildare Town between 8pm on March 7 and the early hours of March 8, a power washer was taken from a farm shed.
In Parsons Hall Maynooth, a woman parked her car in her driveway, and was bringing shopping from the car into her house when her handbag was stolen from the car.
Gardaí are asking people to contact their local garda stations with any information.
