Staff threatened with a hammer as Kill filling station robbed

Naas Garda Station

Naas gardai are investigating a robbery at a filling station/coffee shop near Kill last night.

Two men, one armed with a hammer and the other brandishing a hurley arrived at the facility on the southbound side of the motorway at 10pm.

It’s believed a third accomplice remained outside in a silver Toyota Avensis car, which is understood to have been stolen in the Dublin area.

The men, one of whom stayed at the door spoke with Dublin accents and threatened staff before stealing money, thought to be around €200, from the till.

Gardai were quickly on the scene though no arrests were made at the time.
