New bus route serving Naas to Blanchardstown confirmed

A local TD has confirmed a new bus route serving Naas to Blanchardstown.

Kildare North TD Bernard Durkan, has confirmed on his twitter this afternoon that the new 139 service will commence operation on Monday March 12.

It will run between Naas and Blanchardstown connecting Blanchardstown IT, Ongar, Leixlip, Maynooth, Rathcoffey, Clane, Sallins and Naas, including Naas Hospital.  It will be run for the NTA (National Transport Authority) by JJ Kavanagh & Sons.

He says: “Nine services will run each way, seven days a week. First departure at 07.15 and last departure at 22.35. An important breakthrough in terms of transport for our county.”
