Overcrowding still a problem at Naas Hospital

Naas General Hospital

Overcrowding remains a problem at Naas Hospital today. There are 27 patients on trolleys there today - as there are at Tallaght Hospital. However overcrowding in the eastern region is worst at the Mater Hospital where 34 patients were admitted without a bed being immediately available.

At Tullamore Hospital 45 patients are on trolleys and the figure for Portlaoise Hospital is 11.
