Overcrowding eases at Naas Hospital

Naas General Hospital

There’s been a drop in the level of overcrowding at Naas Hospital.

Eleven patients are awaiting a bed having been admitted through the accident and emergency department at the hospital today.

This is five less than the figure reported from Tallaght Hospital  and three less than at St. Vincent’s Hospital.

The Irish Nurses and Midwives Organisation says there are 15 patients on trolleys at Portlaoise Hospital and a dozen at Tullamore Hospital.
