There are eleven patients on trolleys at Naas Hospital today – four more than yesterday.

The worst hospital for overcrowding in the Kildare-Dublin area today is Tallaght where 20 patients were admitted without a bed being immediately available.

In Portlaoise Hospital there are 9 patients on trolleys while the figure for Tullamore is 16, according to the Irish Nurses and Midwives Organisation.
