Naas General Hospital
Half a dozen patients were awaiting treatment on a trolley at Naas Hospital today, according to the Irish Nurses and Midwives Organisation.
The delays experienced by patients attending the hospital through the Accident and Emergency Department has been falling in recent times.
By comparison there were 20 patients on trolleys at the Mater Hospital and 13 at St. James’s Hospital. Only one hospital in the Greater Dublin area (Tallaght) had less patients on trolleys (3) than Naas.
