Overall winners, Cross and Passion College, Kilcullen, students, Mini Company ‘Pow Pac’, Michael Ermstrang, Fiachra Healy, Eoin Cahill, Caolán Byrne, at the Student Enterprise Awards County Final
Pow Pac from Cross and Passion College won the County Final of the Student Enterprise Awards programme delivered by the Local Enterprise Office Kildare, which was held at the Killashee House Hotel recently.
Their mini company addresses the problem of charging your mobile devices on the go. An excited Fiachra Healy told MC KFM’s Clem Ryan, that they were delighted and proud to win such a fiercely contested award.
Pow Pac will represent Kildare at the National Final in Croke Park on April 20.
In second place were students from Newbridge College with their mini company, Frame Your Name.
Highly Commended Award went to Beauty Bureau from Ardscoil na Trionoide, Athy. The Innovation Award was presented to Paper Garden from St Wolstans Community School. Social Media Award went to Excite your Appetite, Newbridge College. The Best Display Stand and Best Business report went to Sweet Temptations, Scoil Dara, and to Crest to Cards Enterprises, CBS, Naas respectively.
