LATEST: Gardaí release details of car that struck pedestrian in Wexford hit-and-run incident

Gardaí in Wexford are seeking the public’s assistance following a hit-and-run near a local primary school in Gorey

The collision occurred on Friday, January 16 at approximately 2:40pm.

A pedestrian was crossing a road, close to St Joseph’s Primary School in the Creagh area, when the incident ensued. The pedestrian required medical treatment following the collision and the vehicle involved did not stop at the scene.

Now, Gardaí in Gorey have issued a public appeal in hopes of identifying the driver of a 181-registered Mercedes which was involved in this incident. 

Anyone who witnessed this collision, has dash-cam footage or any information that may assist Gardaí in their investigations is asked to contact Gorey Garda Station on 053 943 0690 or the Garda Confidential Line on 1800 666 111.
