Week-long search for woman (36) missing from home stood down as gardaí issue update

A week-long search for a 36-year-old woman who had been the subject of a missing person appeal has been stood down after she was found "safe and well", gardaí have confirmed.

Cristina Ciobirca - described as being approximately 5 foot 3 inches in height, with a slim build, brown hair and blue eyes - was reported missing from her home in Belmayne, Dublin 13 on Thursday, July 3.

"An Garda Síochána would like to thank the media and the public for their assistance," a garda spokesperson said.
