A significant quantity of cash and other items have been seized during a major operation in Kerry targeting the activities of a suspected drug trafficker.
Supported by gardai, the Criminal Assets Bureau says it carried out a series of searches across the Count on Tuesday targeting the assets of an individual who is suspected of involvement in drug trafficking.
Uniformed gardaí from the Kerry Division, members of the Armed Support Unit and Customs Dog Unit conducted searches under warrant at residences and business premises during the operation which involved the deployment of more than 90 personnel.
"During the operation CAB officers seized more than €200,000 in cash, electronic devices as well as documents of evidential value," said a spokesperson.

While no arrests were made during Tuesday's operation, both gardai and CAB say the investigation is ongoing.
