Appeals for help in locating two missing teenagers has been stood down, gardaí have confirmed.

Missing 13-year Fergus Harty who had been missing from Swords, Co Dublin since February 1, has been located safe and well.

Gardaí confirmed there has been a positive outcome and that the search has now been stood down.

"Fergus Harty who had been missing from Swords, Co Dublin since February 1, has been located safe and well.

"An Garda Síochána would like to thank the public and media for their assistance."

Missing Lalita Whelan (14), who was reported missing from her home in Drimnagh, Dublin 12 since February, 7, has been located safe and well.

Gardaí confirmed there has been a positive outcome and that the search has now been stood down.
