Partial building collapse during blaze at industrial estate in Dublin

There has been a partial building collapse during a fire at an industrial estate in Dublin.

The alarm was raised in the Oscar Traynor Road area of Coolock just before 5pm.

The Dublin Fire Brigade said it had six fire engines, including a turntable ladder, at the blaze during the peak.

It described making good progress on Thursday evening but said some structures had collapsed.

By 8pm, fire crews had started to scale their operation back.

Earlier, they advised residents nearby to close all windows and doors as a precaution.

Gardai are also in attendance.

It is understood the incident is not believed to be connected with recent fires at the former Crown Paints factory site around 3km away.
