Ireland AM presenter Síomha Ní Ruairc and Kin actor Cathal Pendred tied the knot in Donegal, and are now enjoying what the county has to offer.

Síomha popped the question in the Irish tradition of proposing on a Leap Day in 2020 and they were married at Lough Eske.

Since then, Síomha and Cathal have been relaxing in the county and posted an Instagram video of their cycle on Arranmore as the sun sets, describing it as "the most beautiful sunset we have ever seen."

After tying the knot on June 21, and announcing the news to the world, the couple were met with celebratory messages from friends across the world via social media.

Irish MMA fighter, Conor McGregor said: "Yup the Pendreds!", while Limerick's Louise Cantillon, who married her childhood sweetheart Declan Hannon last year added a sprinkle of Irish: "Wow. Draíochtúil [magical] foirfe [perfect] xxx."

Mandy Maher, owner of Catwalk Modelling Agency said: "Breathtaking. Stunning. Massive congrats to you both x"
