Man in his 70s pronounced dead at scene of single vehicle collision

A man in his 70s has been pronounced dead at the scene of a single vehicle road traffic collision. 

Gardaí are appealing for witnesses to the incident, which occurred at approximately 11.30pm last night (Thursday May 25) at Prioryland, Duleek, Co Meath. 

The road at Prioryland remains closed this morning pending an examination by Forensic Collision Investigators.

Local diversions are in place.

Any road users who may have camera footage (including dash-cam) and were travelling in the Prioryland area between 11pm and 11:45pm are asked to make this footage available to Gardaí.
