Woman also alleged he ‘threatened to smash my face’

A woman told Naas District Court that her ex-partner thinks she had bugged his phone.

She also alleged at a family law hearing that the man’s behaviour is sometimes “terrifying”.

She also claimed he had threatened to “smash my face” and burn her house down.

The woman also said he had made contact with her sister.

She also claimed that he had “been writing on social media” making claims that she had murdered her former husband.

“My children have to look at that,” she said, adding that the man “won't stop contacting my friends.”

She stated: “He’s terrifying everybody.”

Judge Desmond Zaidan granted an interim protection order to the woman and adjourned the matter to November 23 for a fuller hearing.
