The count centre today
Cllr Bill Clear had underscored a good election for the Social Democrats by topping the poll for the first time.
He was elected on the first count with a first preference haul of 1975.
He is followed by Fine Gael's Fintan Brett who was just 20 votes shy of reaching the quota.
Next in line to be elected is Evie Sammon (FG) followed by independent Seamie Moore.
