A woman arrested following a €130,000 cash seizure in Kildare has been released without charge.
An Garda Síochana (AGS) said yesterday that, as part of Operation Thor, Gardaí in Naas seized €130,000 in cash, following an operation on the N7 on Monday January 30, 2023.
A spokesperson for AGS explained that, at approximately 10.30pm, Gardaí stopped and conducted a search of a vehicle on the N7.
"A female in her 40s was arrested as a result."
Now, AGS has said that the woman has been released without charge.
A file will now be prepared for the Director of Public Prosecutions, AGS added.
