Ballyteague GFC get ready for Strictly Come Dancing

Ballyteague GFC is set to host Strictly Come Dancing on Saturday, October 18 in Moorefield.

Organisers are promising a fantastic night with dancers in rehearsals for the number of weeks.

All of the dancers are from the Allen Parish.

All tickets have been sold - number almost 500 a club source told the Leinster Leader.

“The hope is that it will raise a few bob,” club member Catherine Murphy expalined.

“They’ve been practicing for several weeks now,” she said.

“It’s three or four times a week - a big effort is being made at the moment.

“They’ll all be well toned and fit as a fiddle! Sure I might do it myself the next time,” she added.
