Calverstown man seeks council seat

Colm McNamee, a Calverstown resident is an unusual candidate for local politics.
He was recently diagnosed with having Aspergers Syndrome, and says this was “pivotal in my decision to run for public office.”
The business graduate of IT Carlow has worked for over 10 years as a Community Employment Supervisor “directly with local people trying to improve themselves and their communities.
I also want to highlight that being “differently-abled” (I dislike the negative label of Disability) can be of huge benefit to a community.”
