Leixlip Gardai are investigating the discovery of a suspect improvised explosive device which was thrown through the window of a house in Broadford at 10.50pm on Thursday night last, October 13
Gardai were alerted and set up a cordon which involved evacuated the house and two other neighbouring houses. Although there were a number of people in the house at the time, nobody was injured and the property was not damaged.
Army bomb disposal experts attended the scene and examined the device.
