The case was heard in Naas
A Kildare family is to be monitored closely by Tusla, the Child and Family Agency, after a social worker told Judge Desmond Zaidan that, when they visited them in recent weeks the children were “caked in dirt”.
Huge efforts have been made to clean the house since then by the parents, Naas Court heard last Thursday.
Solicitor for Tusla, Paddy McClean, wanted the press to be prevented from mentioning some details of the case for fear that the family could be identified.
Judge Zaidan granted a supervision order and adjourned the matter to June 26.
