A warrant has been issued for the arrest of a man charged with stealing a total of 23 babygros from Boots, Dublin Road, Naas who failed to show up in court last Thursday, March 8 to answer the charge.

Leon Dillon, 19, with an address listed as 381 Kilcarrig Crescent, Tallaght, is charged with three thefts from the Boots shop.

The first allegedly took place on January 21, 2017 when it is alleged he took €160 of razor blades.

The second was nine days later on January 30 when it is alleged he took nine babygros, and the final charge is that the following day he returned, he took 14 babygros.

Having failed to appear at Naas District Court last Thursday, Judge Desmond Zaidan issued the warrant for the defendant's arrest.
