Specifically, Labour Party Cllr Angela Feeney asked KCC the following question: Can the council confirm if it is working with Transport Infrastructure Ireland and Irish Rail regarding a new road bridge at Jackson Bridge, Maynooth?"

In response, KCC told her via the report it presented at the meeting: "The Roads Capital Projects Team are working with the DART+ Depot Project Team to deliver a new bridge adjacent to Jackson Bridge."

Cllr Feeney subsequently said that she welcomed KCC's report.
