Plans approved for Padel tennis courts in this Kildare football club

Planning permission has been approved for the installation of three Padel tennis courts in Newbridge Town FC, Co Kildare.
According to Construction Information Services (CIS), Padel Sports 100 Limited secured planning permission (ref 2660082) for the development on April 2 2026.

Newbridge Town FC is addressed at Station Road, Newbridge, Co Kildare.

The application, submitted on February 6 2026, consists of the following:

• The installation of three modular, portable Padel tennis courts, complete with artificial grass surface;

• 4m high fencing around sections of the Padel courts perimeter;

• 6m high integrated LED lighting;

• and all other ancillary site works.

€191k - Solar Panel Installation, Newbridge

Meanwhile, also an application for a solar panel installation has been approved for Newbridge, Kildare.

According to CIS, application number 2660069 by Comerford Brothers Limited was approved on April 2 2026.

The scheme – which was applied for on January 30 2026 – comprises the following, with respect to a site at Newbridge Industrial Estate, Green Road, Newbridge, Co Kildare.

• The installation of Solar PV Panels to be mounted on the rooftop of an existing warehouse building and all associated ancillary infrastructure. 

The architect for the project is Smith & Associates Architects.
