A garda investigation has been launched following the theft of an e-scooter from a busy County Kildare train station.
According to Garda David Prendergast, who highlighted the incident during a guest appearance on KFM, the vehicle was stolen from Newbridge Train Station on Friday, March 27 last.

He added that the stolen e-scooter is a black Aovo Pro model.
Gda Prendergast added that while gardaí are currently examining CCTV footage in relation to the incident, he still urged anyone with information about this crime to contact Newbridge Garda Station on 045 440 180.
When asked by the Leinster Leader about the theft, a garda spokesperson had this to say: "Gardaí attended the scene of a theft of a vehicle in Newbridge, County Kildare on the morning of Friday, March 27 last."
The spokesperson further said that investigations into this incident are ongoing.
