Major RTÉ Crimecall appeal over €9,000 worth of stuff stolen from Kildare home
An appeal for information on items worth over €9,000 stolen from a Kildare home went out on RTÉ's Crimecall on Monday, March 30.
Garda Tara Brady explained how on August 27, 2025, the homeowner left their house at 9:45am to find out upon returning home that five different watches had been stolen.
The home in St. John's Drive, St. John's Grove, Co. Kildare, was broken into at lunchtime on the day.
The homeowner received an alarm activation alert at 1:49pm.
When they returned home, it was discovered that the double-glazed back doors had been broken.

However, Gardaí believe the suspect left the house through the front door.
The victim of the burglary soon discovered that five watches, with a combined value of over €9,000, had been taken.
Two Baume and Mercier watches, valued at over €6,000, were stolen.

A TAG Heuer watch worth €2,800 was also taken.

A Mido watch worth €232 and a Citizen watch worth €300 were also stolen from the house.

Gardaí are asking anyone with information or anyone who may have been in the area that day to get in touch.
