A local representative asked Kildare County Council (KCC) if it was aware of a bus stop pole which has been lying on the ground since last year.
Fine Gael Cllr Tracey O'Dwyer asked KCC about this particular bus pole at the latest Kildare-Newbridge Municipal District meeting, which took place on Wednesday, March 18 last.
According to Cllr O'Dwyer, the bus pole is located at the Athgarvan Junction.

In response to her query, KCC said via the report it presented at the meeting: "The Municipal District Office will liaise with the Sustainable Transport Section in relation to this bus pole."
Cllr O'Dwyer replied by saying that she accepted the report.
