A woman brings “dangerous and intimidating people" to the family home, it was claimed at Naas District Court.
The woman’s parents sought court protection against her.
“She comes and goes with people who are very dangerous and intimidating. I know they are engaged in criminal activities," the man claimed at a family law hearing.
The man, who was accompanied by his wife, said this had been going on for a decade.
He said the situation was getting more upsetting and threatening for their grandchildren - the woman’s children.

“You’re familiar with one of them,” he told Judge Desmond Zaidan.
He named one individual who has numerous convictions and Judge Zaidan commented that he knew this person.
“I’m sorry you're going through this,” the judge told the couple and he granted an interim protection order, adjourning the case to July 13.
He said the order would cover the grandchildren and he advised the couple to go to the gardaí if any more issues arise.
The woman was not present or represented.
