Kildare County Council said that the new hours reflect its 'continued investment in library services'

The opening hours for one County Kildare have been extended, Kildare County Council (KCC) has announced.

According to KCC, Kilcullen Library will now open five days a week, offering an additional 13 hours and 15 minutes of service each week."

The revised Kilcullen Library opening hours are listed as follows: 

  • Monday - Closed  
  • Tuesday - 10am to 1pm and 2pm to 5pm 
  • Wednesday - 10am to 1pm 
  • Thursday - 1.30pm to 5pm and 5.45pm to 8pm 
  • Friday - 10am to 1pm and 2pm to 5pm 
  • Saturday - 10am to 1pm and 2pm to 5pm 
  • Sunday – Closed 

KCC added: "This extension reflects Kildare County Council’s continued investment in library services throughout County Kildare."
